The Super Unpleasant Companion Nouveau improves upon the original design of the FY-2 by strengthening the enclosure to make it more road ready, however they're still manufactured to the original size. The sleek, understated appearance hides on the rear of the pedal a tone switch for the FY-6, a big toggle to switch between the two pedal circuits, as well as two control knobs for setting volume/gain/tone/sustain depending on which mode you're on.
