This 1 Meg audio taper pot has a 6.35 mm (1/4") solid shaft for mounting imperial sized control knobs with set screws and includes the snap in bracket to hold it to the PCB during soldering. The logarithmic 10% Audio taper is used for the master volume control on their Blues Deluxe/DeVille, Pro Tube Twin, Pro Tube Concert and Bassman TV 10 amplifiers manufactured 1994 to Present. Audio taper is normally used for volume pots so the human ear can hear the volume change more smoothly. This is a handy part to have if you've bought a used Fender amp where the master volume pot value has been modified or damaged. Includes mounting washer and nut.
