Gretsch G6119T-62 Vintage Select Edition '62 Tennessean Hollow Body with Bigsby Deep Cherry Stain

A faithful recreation of the 1962 original, the G6119T-62 features a sealed hollow body with painted-on F-holes - a quirky, era-specific detail that reduces feedback while maintaining the visual charm. The slim 16" wide laminated maple body, finished in a rich Deep Cherry Stain, is paired with a rock-solid maple neck and a comfortable 12" radius Rosewood fingerboard with thumbnail inlays.

Electronics come courtesy of dual TV Jones HiLo'Tron single-coil pickups, offering a clear, articulate voice with chime and warmth in equal measure. The model's unique switching system – including tone switch, pickup selector, and a master volume – gives you Gretsch’s signature control layout, true to the early ’60s original. There is also a 3 way standby switch, in the centre position, no sound is produced, regardless of the volume controls. Sound is produced when switched to either side.

Other vintage-correct appointments include a Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece, open-back tuners, and a zero fret sat in front of a perfectly carved bone nut for smooth tuning stability. The guitar ships in a TKL-made deluxe Gretsch case, built in Canada to exacting standards.
