Fender Eric Johnson signature strat. Built december 2008. Serial number ej04295. This guitar is almost un played. Tropical Turquoise nitro cellulose paint on a select alder body. Solidly built USA spec vintage tremolo with high mass block with machined steel arm, works beautifully. Has vintage trem cover included. Bound 12” radius select rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets and rolled edges on a select quarter sawn maple neck finished in nitro cellulose lacquer. Staggered vintage machine heads. Excellent Eric Johnson special select pickups bring really versatile vintage tones. Light marks on the case and a little lacquer damage on headstock (see photos) thanks to some bright spark at fender supplying a display case which resulted in the reaction to the nitro celullose, this clear lacquer can can easily be touched up though. Around 7 3/4 lbs in weight. This guitar feels and sounds as vintage as it looks, it’s up there with decent Custom Shop examples. Really really nice.
