Mint condition Matrix 12- USA Model from my private collection. Serviced a few years ago by James Walker. This is the real deal- the Analog monster that still is unbeaten in terms of filter types, modulation options and sheer programming flexibility. I've quickly cleaned this but not polished it so there are a few marks on here that wilil clean up... The screen is still bright and the unit is in excellent condition with very little wear. **Will swap for a Jupiter 8 if anyone is interested!**

Tom's masterpiece before Oberheim went tits up. Think Moog one or Quantum level of modulations but with the sound of mid eighties end of era Analog synthesis before it went digital- i.e. stable and reliable harware that still sounds massive. This has rock solid tuning everytime,. (unless you want to mod that...) Backup /upload sounds via sysex- so easy to do and means you can storre all your sounds, use other peoples... You can upload xpander ones as well btw,,,

This is a serious synth for people who want to program expressive and interesting sounds.The Matrix-12 also includes several novel combinations of filter types, created by running different pole configurations in parallel Between 1-4 pole. These include two-pole high + one-pole low, three-pole high + one-pole low, two-pole notch + one-pole low, and three-pole phase + one-pole low modes, each of which can be used to create the sweeping, animated sounds of multiple filter types sharing the same cutoff frequency. This number of options makes fertile ground for careful listening and colourful experimentation—while it might be tempting for some to gravitate toward the more dramatic filter types, much can be accomplished with subtler effects and combinations of distinct filter tones.

I've owned this for 10 years and it works flawlessly every time. One key has been glued so has a hair line crack in- but it's very minimal and could be refined so you wouldn't see it... questions ask. Check out Espen Kraft , Perfect Circuit Audio and GStorm Electro for sound examples in youtube/
