The official Fender Prewired Stratocaster Pickguard w/ Original '57/'62 Pickups make changing your pickups a complete breeze, the pickups, pots and switch come mounted to the scratchplate and the electronic components have been soldered together for quick and easy mounting.

The Original ’57 / ’62 Pickups feature staggered hand bevelled pole pieces for a smooth balanced tone, while the Alnico V magnets give your guitar more focus and dynamic range. The pickguard is shielded underneath to help ground the controls and shield the electronics from noise. Featuring a reverse wound reverse polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum-cancelling in positions two and four, it has Formvar coated magnet wire and a five position switch. The CTS 250k pots offer classic Fender tone and quality. With vintage style cloth wiring and fiber bobbins, it also offers your guitar an authentic look and feel to match the sound.

To finish installation of this prewired assembly, simply remove your old ‘guard, solder the hot and circuit ground from the new kit to the existing output jack and solder the trem claw ground wire and screw in the electronics cavity ground wire and that's it, mount the new guard and you're ready to rock with pure Fender sound. The same high quality components are used as in their fully assembled guitars making this a quick and easy way to upgrade or replace your electronics and controls all at once (includes control knobs and switch tip.)
