No pedal holds more mystique than the legendary Klon overdrive. With its unique overdriven tones and boosting capabilities, this pedal has captured the imagination of players from Jeff Beck to John Mayer. The Archer is a tribute to that legendary silver pedal, down to its colourway and unique reddish brown pointer knobs. Featuring germanium diodes and authentic circuitry it captures nuances of the original unit. It gives you slightly more gain and bite than the original, making it perfect for blend of the legend and a modern cleaner boost. The gain also acts as a mixer control between the clean boost and the gain. Turn the gain all the way down and your output becomes the volume for all clean boost. Start blending in the gain control and it will simultaneously reduce clean volume and introduce more gain, somewhere in the middle is the sweet spot/mix of the two. Experimentation is encouraged.
