Pair Vintage Park Speaker Columns with 2 x 12 Celestion Green Back Mid to Late 70's - Turqoise

Pair of Vintage Park 2x 12 Column Speakers each containing a pair of Celestion 25W Green Back Speakers.

They are both in working order, one had some noise when plugging in , improved with contact cleaner ; however, IMO these would benefit from re-soldering all contact points , an easy option for anyone handy with a soldering Iron (which Im not) or a professional service and they are prices accordingly for the latter.

I purchased these 2nd hand around 1978 to 1980 at the latest they were used as PA columns fro rehearsals , never gigged but have been in dry storage since 1986. I've not been able to date them with any real accuracy as it seems Celestion changed the format often - I can read the Chasis numbers as made in 1969, 1977 or 1987 , given I bought them in 1980 at the latest then id guess that the most obvious date would be 1977.

They would benefit from a clean, there is 1 missing grab handle and the other is just the metal inner, the leather outer long gong.

There are a pair of covers which are a bit tatty and have seen better days , fixable with some duct tape and a wash; however, they do the intended job.

I've listed as local pickup only , I'm guessing they weigh about 20Kg each give or take ( I can weigh them if needed ) so don't think they'd be cheap to ship ; however, happy to hand them over to a courier of a buyers choice, cost and risk. I DO NOT HAVE ANY MEANS OF PACKAGING THESE.
