I have owned this from new - I chose it in person at the Hamer factory in Chicago as I was at that time a Hamer endorsed artist. Reluctant sale, but time moves on and you can't keep em' all. Is in good but definitely 'used' condition - I toured and recorded with it in the 90s. Note requisite dings, imperfections, buckle rash. A short crack in the finish just adjacent to the largest sound hole (see photo) and you can just about see where a few stickers have been on the back, and the usual/typical wear & tear - but nevertheless a great and fully functioning guitar with (as I recall) Seymour Duncan pickups, plus the famed Ovation designed bridge Piezo. A really great guitar with bags of mojo and unique sounds/options. Separate jack outs for the buckers and Piezo. No case, but will be well packaged and sent by insured courier. UK buyers only please. Successfully melding an electric with an acoustic guitar, the ‘DuoTone’ model was Introduced into the ‘Hamer ‘range at the height of the alternative scene in the mid-nineties, with  several noted artists playing and touring the DuoTone’ including: Tommy Shaw - Styx, Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Dweezil Zappa.

This guitar features: -  

·      a semi-hollow - chambered mahogany body with a solid spruce top;  

·      1 x Seymour Duncan pickup in the neck position;  

·      1 x Seymour Duncan’ Humbucker in the bridge position;

·       1 x Piezo pickup mounted under the bridge, and; three functionally tuned circular sound holes;

·      24.75 inch scale mahogany neck;

·       14.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays.

·      Dual outputs  - one for the Humbuckers - one for the Piezo
