Fender American Vintage Jazzmaster Scratchplate / Pickguard Shielding Plate keeps your electronics shielded from interference and brings a vintage correct appointment to your guitar.

This official Fender Aluminium Shielding Plate is in the vintage style rather than the thinner modern adhesive sheet. The 2.8 mm (.011") thick plate is simply mounted between the controls and the underside of the scratchplate to ground the controls and help shield the electronics from noise (no wiring necessary as it will ground to the pots). No gluing or adhesive necessary. All the control holes are pre-cut in the plate for a quick and easy fit. For American Vintage Jazzmaster guitars (does not fit import models). Made in the USA, the Fender American Vintage Jazzmaster Shielding Plate is the official vintage correct way to shield your electric guitar.
