What is the Box of War Small Foot? It is the same pedal as the original Wren and Cuff Box of War, but modified to fit in a standard 125 size enclosure. That's it! Same parts, same guts, smaller size.

Crafted to replicate the iconic Civil War-era Muffs, the Box of War offers a versatile fuzz tone capable of venturing into overdrive.

The Box of War stands out with its simple, user-friendly interface featuring just three controls (Volume, Distortion, Tone).

With the Box of War, you'll experience a searing, yet clear fuzz that doesn't sacrifice your guitar's tonal character.

Very closely related to the Tall Font Muffs, Civil War-era Muffs have a darker and fuzzier tone.

Like the Tall Fonts, they’ve got less output and are less fuzzy than most Muffs but are cherished for their woody sustain and presence.

These beasts became a secret weapon for many (namely David Gilmour and Thurston Moore), but usually required two or three back-up pedals due to the poor quality components. The Box of War solves that problem: sound, looks, and reliability!
