I cleaned and restored this Bowlback Mandolin, original Stridente, from the famous company, based in Napoli. I don’t know the exact age where he was built but I know that we are talking about early 1900-1910.
The mandolin, is playing very well, and it’s in a great status considering that we are talking about an item that probably is over 100 years old.
Minor little scratches in the back, and a little scratch at the back. But it doesn't affect the unique sound. Apart from that works pretty well and it’s very loud when your are playing it. It does have a distinctive sound, and is perfect for studio Recordings and Folk- pop or medieval music.
Selling this gorgeous item with his own original case, which makes the item foldable, but you cannot sealed it.
Also comes with self instructions and you can learn how to play it.
I can send more pictures, or if you want we can meet in my place.
Only serious people interested.
