Fender Vintera Roasted Maple 60s Jazz Bass neck. Genuine Fender replacement neck.
This neck has been constructed from roasted maple, which cosmetically has a gorgeous dark hue whilst also delivering more stability and sustain, in addition to adding a unique tone to the instrument's voice.
The neck has a satin Urethane finish on the back, and a gloss Urethane finish on front. It features a vintage C neck profile, a 7.25" radius, and 20 vintage frets for a vintage style playing feel.
The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" grooves for accurate spacing when filing the final string slots.
*Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures
