The Utility Perkolator MkII takes the authentically reproduced circuit which has been so successful in Fredric Effects (true to the original design) Harmonic Percolator clone pedal, but then introduces a little fresh thinking. Among other things, the new design delivers reduced floor noise, meaning your output can focus solely on all the brutal tones the Utility Perkolator has to offer.

Other upgrades include Russian Germanium transistors for higher gain and less leakage, plus the addition of a low pass filter to tame some of the high end hiss associated with the original Harmonic Percolator, making the Utility Perkolator possibly the best sounding HP clone on the market!

This new MkII Utility Perkolator version has an added switchable ring modulation circuit for splattery octave effects, and some DIP switches on the circuit board to remove the low pass filter if required.

Fredric Effects is owned by the two guitarists of London alt rock band The Sailplanes, and focus on naught but recreating vintage boutique effects at a highly affordable price, while ensuring the most supreme of build qualities that last the test of time!
