The Remo Vintage A Ambassador Drum Head features a 2 ply 7.5mil and a 3mil polyester film and were initially, the first successful alternative to calf heads.
They deliver a warm tone with a nice smooth decay with a overall fatter sound than the standard Ambassador heads, delivering a nice bump in the lower mids, hence the perceived extra warmth.
