About this model

The Marantz CD6005 is a two-channel CD player built around a Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC (192kHz/24-bit) and Marantz's discrete HDAM-SA2 analogue output stage, which also drives the front-panel 1/4-inch headphone output. It plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs, with WMA, MP3, AAC and WAV files supported from disc and USB, and the front USB port accepts flash drives as well as iPod, iPhone and iPad devices. Outputs include one pair of gold-plated RCA analogue outputs plus optical and coaxial digital outputs. A centre-mounted disc mechanism, double-layered metal base plate and shielded digital audio section are designed to reduce vibration and interference, and the unit has a metal front panel and a two-line dimmable fluorescent display. It does not play SACD. The CD6005 won Best CD Player Under £500 at the What Hi-Fi? Awards 2015.

A great opportunity to own a Marantz CD6005 at this price point.
