Condition: Good

This guitar amplifier is in good condition. It has passed our 10-point functional test, with 1 item(s) not applicable to this unit. Note: Fully tested. The amp powers on and everything we checked works as it should. Please note that both Gain dials produce a crackling sound when turned. It is very quiet but can be heard when the dials are turned. Cosmetically, the amp is in great condition, with hardly any surface marks or scratches. The main thing to note is that it has a replacement handle, which does not appear to be very secure, as the screws holding it in place are quite loose. We tried to tighten them but were unfortunately unsuccessful. Please refer to the images provided. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

About this model

The Mesa Boogie Express 5:25 is an all-tube guitar amplifier built around five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes. Its Duo-Class power switching lets you choose between 25 watts (Class A/B push-pull) and 5 watts (Class A single-ended), covering everything from bedroom volumes to louder playing. It offers two footswitchable channels, each with two gain modes, along with a fully buffered effects loop and an all-tube spring reverb. Dyna-Watt technology extends headroom, and the Contour control shapes the midrange character. Mesa Boogie builds these amps by hand in Petaluma, California.

A great opportunity to own a Mesa Boogie Express 5:25 at this price point.
