Natal Bubinga Originals 2016 - natural lacquered bubinga

NATAL ORIGINALS – 100% BUBINGA DRUM KIT

Natural Gloss Lacquer | Premium Professional Series | £995 ONO

Natal Originals – Genuine 100% Bubinga Shells – Natural Gloss Lacquer – Five-Drum Configuration.

A rare opportunity to acquire a stunning Natal Originals professional drum kit, constructed with 100% bubinga shells and finished in a beautiful natural gloss lacquer that showcases the distinctive grain of this exceptional hardwood.

Approximately 10 years old, this kit comes from a period when bubinga was widely recognised as a premium drum-shell material. International trade in several bubinga species became regulated under CITES in 2017, making this type of all-bubinga construction an increasingly interesting proposition for discerning drummers.

7 ply 5.5mm bubinga is renowned for its powerful projection, rich low frequencies, warm resonance and exceptional tonal character having an exceptional combination of rich, warm tonal depth, powerful low-end response and outstanding projection. Bubinga offers a distinctive alternative to conventional maple and birch drums.

The bearing edges are 45 degree hand finished with a beeswax finishing treatment.

Approximately 10 years old, this is a premium kit from Natal's flagship Originals range, combining superb craftsmanship with the rich, powerful sound of solid bubinga shells.

Configuration: 22" bass drum, 10", 12" and 13" rack toms, plus 16" floor tom.

Includes two Natal cymbal stands and two Natal tom mounting clamps and one Tama clamp

Bass drum has an Evans EMAD head, 10,12,16 toms have Evans EC2S clear and 13 has original Aquarian head.

The kit is in good used condition, with minor cosmetic nicks to the lacquer on the bass drum and two rack toms, together with some normal bass drum pedal rash. The 13" tom has barely been played and is virtually as new. Chrome hoops in very good condition with no blemishes

I have used this in the studio and live, it's a fantastically powerful kit. The photographs are honest, taken to display the condition as accurately as possible, as ever personal inspection is reccommended.

A beautifully figured, professional-quality all-bubinga drum kit with considerable visual appeal and a fantastic sound.
