The Frap Tools 333 is a precision summing mixer and buffered multiple in 6HP. Its circuitry comes from Frap Tools' CGM Creative Mixer series, so it's a high-quality utility that keeps earning its place in a rack.

What it does:

• Three identical sections (red, yellow and green), each a 3-input summing mixer with 3 independently buffered outputs.
• DC coupled throughout, so it works equally well for audio and CV.
• Very low tolerance, accurate enough for summing quantised pitch CVs, e.g. adding a transposition to a melody, without detuning.
• −6dB attenuator per section, halving the sum exactly, for taming hot signals.
• Works as a 1-to-9 buffered multiple: the red and yellow outputs are normalled to the first input of the next section, so one signal can feed nine destinations.
