The Kala KA-SA-C Solid Acacia Concert Ukulele pairs a comfortable mid-sized body with striking, figured all-solid wood construction.

Designed to deliver a warm, resonant voice that improves as the instrument breaks in, this concert model offers a clear top-end backed by a woody mid-range. It serves as an inspiring option for players stepping up from entry-level laminates who want professional acoustic character.

Acacia shares a close kinship with traditional koa, providing a balanced sonic profile with plenty of sustain. The concert scale length offers slightly more room along the fretboard than a smaller soprano format while retaining a nimble, portable feel.

All-Solid Construction

The soundboard, back, and sides are crafted entirely from solid acacia, allowing the instrument to resonate freely without the restrictions of laminate alternatives. As the wood matures with regular playing, the tone opens up to reveal richer depth.

Traditional Appointments and Playability

Maple binding frames the body to provide clean aesthetic contrast and added durability against the figured grain. A smooth mahogany neck supports a rosewood fingerboard equipped with 18 frets for navigating chord shapes and melodies.

Graph Tech NuBone nuts and saddles ensure reliable string vibration transfer, while factory-fitted Aquila Super Nylgut strings deliver stable intonation right out of the box.
