Schoeps CMIT 5U Shotgun Microphone

Schoeps CMIT 5U Shotgun Microphone – Excellent Condition / Hardly Used

£1,495

A superb Schoeps CMIT 5U professional shotgun microphone in excellent condition and with very little use.

This microphone formed part of the equipment in our professional London recording studio and has been extremely well cared for. It has seen only very light use and has predominantly been kept in a controlled studio environment rather than used extensively on location.

The CMIT 5U is one of Schoeps' flagship microphones and is widely regarded as an exceptional choice for professional film, television, dialogue, voiceover and location recording. It offers outstanding speech clarity and natural tonal reproduction while providing excellent off-axis rejection.

Unlike many shotgun microphones, the CMIT 5U is particularly noted for retaining a natural and balanced sound while achieving a highly directional pickup.

Features:

• Genuine Schoeps CMIT 5U
• Professional supercardioid/lobe shotgun microphone
• 48V phantom powered
• Exceptionally natural and detailed sound
• Excellent dialogue and voice reproduction
• Strong off-axis rejection
• Low self-noise
• Switchable low-cut filter
• Switchable high-frequency emphasis
• Lightweight professional construction
• Very good cosmetic condition
• Hardly used
• Fully working and professionally maintained

This has been professionally owned and very lightly used, rather than being a heavily used location or rental microphone.

An excellent opportunity to acquire a high-end Schoeps microphone at substantially below the cost of purchasing new.
