Up for sale is a fantastic SCI TOM drum machine with three custom ROM carts (Linn LM-1, Linndrum, and Oberheim DMX). This one is in decent condition but has a few technical issues to note:
-The trigger out jack is cracked, but it still works fine.
-The parameter buttons also like to jump--this is super common on these but they work ok if you're patient.
-The drum buttons also work well given the age and don't double trigger, but they can be made smoother with some lubricant (like silicone).
-There's no output from the Right output (left works as expected).
-Lastly, the battery is not holding a charge and needs to be replaced, it will lose patterns when turned off.
Otherwise it's working 100% and is ready for jamming. You can automate both volume and pitch for each drum sound (so you can vary them per step--like the original Elektron P-locks :) ) Sounds as punchy as it did 40 years ago.
N.B. This is a US-version, I'll throw in a 240->120V power converter for another 15 pounds.
