Eros was a UK-market brand associated with Rosetti, with Japanese-made Eros instruments from this period linked to Matsumoku production.
The bass is approximately 50 years old and has genuine age-related cosmetic wear throughout, including various small knocks, scratches and finish marks. To my eye it suits the character of a vintage instrument of this age.
An interesting example of the Japanese-made instruments imported into the UK during the 1970s, and substantially less common than equivalent Aria and other Matsumoku-branded instruments.
Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description. Happy to provide additional photographs or internal component/pickup codes for interested buyers.
