The Corrupter is Earthquaker’s take on a PLL pedal, capable of some real crazy experimental sounds. Lots of control options and yet it can’t be fully controlled, there will always be the element of surprise. A beauty!
It’s hard to describe a PLL pedal if you haven’t experienced one, so I’d strongly recommend watching the attached video, or simply checking reviews of the Corrupter on YouTube - there are plenty. At its heart is a fuzz circuit which interacts with an oscillator to produce the core sound - and this is just scratching the surface.
I’ll be sad to see it go but unfortunately I need to cut my rig down to essentials only, and the Corrupter is a proper luxury, in the true sense of the word.
NOTE ON ITEM CONDITION
The unit is in a decent cosmetic condition (with obvious signs of normal use over time - see photos) and is fully functional, without any problems whatsoever. It will ship without the original box, documentation or PSU. The user guide is easily found online - Earthqualker’s website has it in eight languages. The pedal uses standard 9V DC power with centre negative polarity and, being fully analogue, doesn’t draw a lot of juice (only 26 mA).
