The Kala KA-EBY-TE Striped Ebony Tenor Ukulele with EQ pairs striking aesthetics with extended range and plugged-in versatility, making it a compelling choice for players stepping up to a larger scale.

Built with an eye-catching striped ebony top, back, and sides accented by crisp maple binding, this electro-acoustic ukulele delivers the rich projection and comfortable string spacing that tenor formats are celebrated for.

Striped Ebony Body and Maple Appointments

Crafted entirely from striped ebony, the body showcases deep brown tones paired with distinctive reddish-brown grain patterns. Crisp maple binding frames the edges, creating a clean visual contrast against the dark timber while maintaining a lightweight, resonant feel under the arm.

Playability and Built-in Electronics

The smooth mahogany neck carries a rosewood fingerboard equipped with 18 frets, giving players comfortable upper-fret access for complex chord voicings and melodic work.

Outfitted with onboard electronics, Graph Tech NuBone nuts and saddles, and Aquila Super Nylgut strings, this tenor ukulele is ready for both acoustic practice and amplified stage performance right out of the box.
