The Kala Metropolitan Deluxe Baritone Ukulele couples all-solid mango construction, a cutaway body and the extended baritone scale, delivering a rich, full-bodied acoustic voice with pronounced low-end resonance.

Crafted for performing musicians, fingerstyle players, and ensemble performers seeking a deeper tonal range, this instrument combines natural projection with refined appointment work and an adjustable neck for dependable, long-term playability.

All-Solid Mango Body Construction

Its cutaway body is constructed with solid mango top, back, and sides, allowing the instrument to provide an expansive acoustic response marked by complex harmonic warmth and clear note definition. Solid tonewoods vibrate as an integrated unit, allowing the resonance to deepen and mature over time. A gleaming gloss finish protects the body, highlighting the natural grain figuring of the timber while preserving its open acoustic character.

Solid Mahogany Neck and Ebony Fingerboard

The mahogany neck features a supportive profile that ensures fluid fretwork along the extended 20.06" (51 cm) baritone scale length. Fitted with an internal adjustable truss rod, the neck maintains precise relief under varying climate conditions. A slab ebony fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface across all 20 frets, delivering crisp note articulation and immediate tactile response.

Bone Hardware and Refined Appointment Details

A genuine bone nut and saddle maximize energy transfer from the strings directly into the solid soundboard, enhancing natural sustain and tonal clarity. The body is outlined with crisp ebony binding and an intricate ebony rosette featuring red purfling, while a Mango Vine headstock inlay provides an elegant finishing flourish.

Supplied with a dedicated Baritone Revelator string set and an included padded gig bag, this baritone ukulele comes completely equipped for immediate practice, performance, and recording.
