Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute T Electric Guitar in Satin Gold Top Dark Back finish. Made in the USA in 2016, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Nashville ToM bridge, Stopbar tailpiece, Gibson Deluxe tuners and a set of Gibson 498T/490R humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Rounded 50s’ profile feeling slender and easily manoeuvrable and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore. The 12” radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for bending and vibrato techniques. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, making it very easy to play this guitar whether seated or standing.

The Gibson 490R humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for blasting your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange which is great for chordal styles of playing as it delivers plenty of clarity. The 498T humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with its punchy output for a searing distortion sound on your rhythm parts. The traditional Les Paul controls provide ample control of your sound right on the instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light markings are present to either side of the headstock where the guitar would make contact with a hanger. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss texture consistent with playwear. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Mild finish checking is present to the bass side lower bout edge of the body which carries over to the lower bout rear face, these have been checked and present no structural concerns. Light nitro checking is present to the front face of the body, seen under close scrutiny by the controls. The satin finish has worn to a light gloss in high contact areas consistent with playwear. This is most notable at the sides of the waist. Light scratching to the front face is present at the bass side of the bridge pickup. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.

Hardware: Excellent condition. The strap buttons have been replaced with Gold locking type buttons. The originals are not included. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
