Yamaha MGP32X 32-channel mixing console offered for sale as requires further testing before safe operation

The mixer has been given limited functional testing only.

During testing:

• The mixer powered on successfully
• The display and LEDs illuminated
• Each input channel was tested individually
• Channels 10, 21 and 23 did not operate/respond during testing
• The remaining channels tested produced a response during the test

No attempt has been made to diagnose or repair the three non-working channels, and the mixer has not been internally inspected.

During testing, a powered monitor speaker was connected to the mixer. The power indicator on the speaker began flickering. I cannot confirm whether this was caused by the mixer, the speaker, cable, mains supply or another unrelated issue, so testing was stopped and this is being fully disclosed.

I strongly recommend that the buyer has the mixer inspected and tested by a suitably competent audio/electrical technician before connecting it to powered speakers, amplifiers, recording equipment or other valuable audio equipment.

Cosmetically it shows signs of previous professional use in line with age, including minor marks, scratches, wear and tape/labels to the front edge. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

Yamaha MGP32X mixing console only, together with its mains power lead if shown/provided.

This is a large, heavy professional mixer, so collection would be preferable if applicable.
