2005 Gibson Les Paul Music Rising Limited Edition

Rare and highly collectible Gibson Les Paul Music Rising from the limited 2005 production run of just 300 guitars.

These guitars were produced as part of Gibson’s Music Rising project following Hurricane Katrina, with each instrument featuring its own distinctive hand-painted/hand-decorated finish. This example has a particularly unusual green, natural wood and purple finish, making it completely individual.

The guitar is in Very Good condition overall, with genuine signs of use and age. There is visible wear to the finish, particularly around the neck/body area, along with some ageing/tarnishing to the hardware. Please see the detailed photographs, which form part of the description.

The guitar presents beautifully and is a genuinely unusual piece of Gibson history. No two Music Rising guitars have exactly the same appearance, and only 300 were produced.
