Hyperstellar Sailophone - Made by Sławek Janus in Poland.

Including import tax to the UK and dispatch in 2025 I spent £2000 gbp to receive this amazing instrument.

Upon arrival 2x of the tines had snapped off at the base during transit. I asked Slawek if this could be repaired and he advised againt it as it would require the re treatment of the stainless steel base after a very specialist bronze to steel welding process, I decided to use the unit without the 2 missing tines.

I have never wished for more, this instrument creates other worldly sounds and really is very special.

It can be bowed with a Cello bow or struck with different mallets, even chop sticks and wooden meat skewers sound amazing. Slawek build this instrument with extra long tines to have a slightly deeper tone as such it is unique.

It is in great aesthetic condition and sounds as it did when it arrived, amazing.

If you have any questions please ask. I am selling due to an unforeseen change of circumstances

The video linked is of Slawek playing this exact instrument in Poland.
