The Yamaha Power V Special is an iconic intermediate-to-pro level drum kit from the late 1980s and early 1990s. It represents a unique era in drum manufacturing when Yamaha owned Premier Drums (between 1988 and 1992), leading to many of these kits being proudly built at the Premier factory in England.

Key Specifications & Features Shell Construction:
The shells are a hybrid design, typically featuring a Philippine mahogany exterior blended with a birch or poplar interior. Power V Special series offered enhanced tonal dynamics.Sound Profile: Known for excellent acoustic control. They deliver a deep, full, and punched low-end tone that is highly versatile for both studio recording and live stage performance.
