Romero Creations Grand Tenor, Solid Spalted Mango (GT-MG 9021) A Pepe Romero designed Grand Tenor in solid spalted mango, from the original limited run. Romero never made this a standard model because there wasn't enough high-grade spalted mango to sustain it, so the batch was small and every top is unique. The figuring on this one is particularly dramatic. Bought from Uke Like the Pros in the US, who sourced it direct from Pepe Romero, so it arrived professionally set up rather than straight off a shelf. All-solid construction throughout. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and tuner buttons, genuine abalone rosette and fret markers, mahogany neck, 17" tenor scale with the wider 1.5" nut that makes fingerstyle so much easier. The oversized body gives it the depth and volume the Grand Tenor is known for. Pristine condition throughout, no dings, cracks or repairs. Set up with in low G. Comes with the original Romero Creations hard padded gig bag. Currently £999 new from Thomann UK.
