A few things to note with this amp:

1. 1 - The spring reverb is broken. I contacted Laney and they informed me that they used an Accutronics-Belton 4BB3C1B which is still readily available to purchase. I called an amp repair shop who said it’d be roughly half an hour’s work. I'd estimate an £80 repair based on: a) The part which is around £40 online b) Half an hour's work at my local amp repair shop at £40 also. I’m happy to share any of the details Laney have sent me. 

1. 2 - The numbers and some of the lettering has come off. There is also a visible stain on the side of the cab. I cannot say exactly what caused this as It happened before I acquired the amp. Needless to say this doesn’t affect the functioning of the amp but you have to remember what some of the dials are. 

Aside from these things, the amp itself is one of my favourites I’ve played. It has a warm character, with plenty of brightness on tap. I’m selling this combo because I am now using the head version of the same amp and don’t have space for both. The Celestion Heritage G12 H speaker is really nice with a mid-focused character. This is the UK made version of the amp before Laney moved their production overseas. Comes with foot switch. Please note that the fx loop is parallel.

For anyone who gets their reverb from pedals and doesn’t mind the aesthetic imperfections, this could be an affordable way to get into class A valve tone.
