The Behringer KM1700 is a high-output stereo power amplifier built around Class-H complementary linear output circuitry with Accelerated Transient Response (ATR) technology, which modulates the power supply rails to track signal peaks - delivering efficiency and punch in demanding live or installed sound applications. It accepts balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" TRS inputs on each channel, and drives speakers via SpeakON locking connectors and touch-proof binding posts. Each channel carries independent DC, short-circuit, and thermal cut protection, while switchable limiters guard against overload without sacrificing headroom. The unit sits in a robust all-steel 2U rackmount chassis with front-to-back ventilation and a high-current toroidal transformer, and a full complement of power, signal, and clip LEDs keeps performance visible at a glance.
