About This Model

The Pioneer PL-30-K is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable built around a high-torque DC servo-controlled motor, delivering wow and flutter of 0.1% WRMS or less for stable, accurate playback. Its dual-layered chassis incorporates a 4 mm-thick metal plate and a low centre of gravity to minimise resonance, while the aluminium die-cast platter sits beneath a 5 mm rubber mat to further suppress vibrations. A static-balanced straight tonearm (221.5 mm effective length) arrives pre-mounted with a Moving Magnet stereo phono cartridge, and a built-in phono equaliser with an On/Through selector means it can connect directly to amplifiers with or without a dedicated phono stage. Auto-start, auto-stop, and tonearm return make operation straightforward, and gold-plated RCA connectors complete a tidy, plug-and-play analogue signal path.
