Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul ES in Lightburst finish. Made in the USA in 2015 in Gibson’s Memphis factory, this rare Les Paul features a semi-hollow construction with no ‘f’ holes. This guitar consists of a body made from Maple/Poplar/Maple with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with Tulip buttons, ABR-1 bridge and Stopbar tailpiece. A pair of ‘Memphis Historic Spec humbucker pickups. These are wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that is on the feels on the thinner side of most Gibson guitars. This slender neck with shallow shoulders offers a responsive and articulate playing experience well suited to l;ead players. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience. 

The semi-hollow construction provides an open airiness to the sound which makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of genres whilst retaining a unique and unmistakable voice. The ‘Memphis Historic Spec’ humbuckers deliver a thick and powerful tone, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone with ease, whilst the simplicity of the controls ensure that you can stay focussed on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most notably at the treble side, extending through the bottom of the 'n' in Gibson.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Most notably at the 5th fret. None of these light markings can be felt beneath the string or by the hand in playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. The front and rear face demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The sides demonstrate light scratching and indentation, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most notably indentations to the lower bout towards the treble side of the strap button, and near the treble side waist. These are light markings, only visible under direct light and have not pierced the finish. Light scuff marks are apparent around the lower bout strap button that could not be removed during our cleaning process.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light-mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light to mild tarnishing is apparent to the pickup covers, bridge and tailpiece. Light concentrated scratching is apparent to the pickguard.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Fully functional and very good condition. All aspects of the case demonstrate light signs of previous use. All clasps, compartments and handles are functional.
