About This Model

The Hitachi SR-2010L is an AM/FM stereo receiver produced in 1979, built around a superheterodyne tuner covering both AM (broadcast/long wave) and FM bands. It delivers 80W of power output and accepts a range of sources including an MM phono input (3mV sensitivity) and a line input (150mV sensitivity), making it compatible with turntables as well as other audio components. Housed in a metal case and weighing 4.9kg at 435 × 110 × 278mm, it is a compact but substantial unit designed for AC 220V operation.
