The NU-X Solid Studio is an IR cabinet and power amp simulator from the Verdugo series, designed to replicate the classic amp, speaker cabinet, and microphone combinations used on stage and in the studio — without the need for a physical cabinet. It's built for players and engineers who need a reliable, high-quality direct signal for live performance, recording, or silent practice.

Virtual mic-ing is achieved by selecting one of 8 speaker cabinets and one of 8 microphones, then adjusting the mic position using a three-position switch. Three power amp tube simulations can be engaged alongside Master, Drive, and Presence controls for added warmth and character. A USB port allows loading of third-party IR files, software control, and firmware updates.
