The iFi Zen Blue is a dedicated Bluetooth DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Converter) designed to bring high-resolution wireless audio into a stationary hi-fi or desktop setup. It receives audio exclusively via Bluetooth 5.0, powered by a Qualcomm QCC5100 chipset, and supports a wide range of codecs including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, and HWA - covering virtually every source device and quality tier. On the output side it offers both analogue connections (RCA stereo and a 4.4mm balanced output) and digital pass-through (coaxial RCA and optical), making it straightforward to integrate with amplifiers, powered speakers, or further DAC/amp stages. Measured performance is strong for the class: dynamic range and SNR both reach 109dB(A), THD+N sits below 0.0015%, and output voltage is 2.05V at 0dBFS. The illuminated logo indicates which Bluetooth codec is active at any given moment.
