About This Model

The SY-2A-20W is a 20W stereo power amplifier from SY Electronics Ltd, designed for flexible installation in presentation and AV environments. It accepts two selectable line inputs alongside a 3.5mm microphone input with phantom power capability, and offers stereo 3.5mm line out plus speaker terminals. A voiceover function makes it well suited to presentation use, while RS232 control commands allow external adjustment of settings such as bass and treble levels. The unit is cascadable - multiple amplifiers can be chained via line out to line in to extend coverage across larger spaces - and it is compatible with SY HD-BaseT products and the SY-HD-3.5AD HDMI Audio De-embedder, though it operates equally well as a standalone amplifier. An IR sensor socket and optional IR remote control round out the control options.
