Unique pedal allowing two beats per pedal press - one on the down stroke and one on the return. There is a foot operated lever to switch between single and double action. It is a really well made piece of gear and clamps in place on the rim of the bass drum firmly.
I found it tricky to get used to at first, but with continued use and practice it could become second nature, enabling rapid fire bass drumming using just one foot. I have seen it partnered with another pedal making for even faster beats.
