A beautiful example of Martin’s 000-28 Reimagined series, finished in natural and supplied with its original Martin hard case and paperwork.

This guitar was originally selected for the Japanese market by KOEIDO, the respected Japanese Martin dealer, and still carries the KOEIDO selection sticker on the rear of the headstock.

The 000-28 is a wonderfully comfortable alternative to a dreadnought, with the shorter 24.9” scale, modified low-oval neck and classic combination of Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood. It has a rich, balanced and articulate sound, with plenty of warmth and depth while remaining very responsive to a lighter touch.

Condition
The guitar is in very good to excellent used condition and has been carefully looked after.
There are a couple of fine hairline cracks/checks visible in the lacquer/finish on the spruce top. I had these specifically checked by a Professional Luthier and was advised that there were no structural concerns and that the guitar was in good order. They have remained stable during my ownership.
I’ve tried to photograph these clearly and would much rather mention them openly so that any prospective buyer knows exactly what they are buying.

Aside from this, there are the normal light signs of use you would expect from an eight-year-old played instrument, but overall it presents extremely well. The neck, bridge, back and sides are particularly clean, and the guitar plays beautifully.
