For sale is my Roland Boutique TR-09, Roland’s recreation of the legendary TR-909 drum machine.

I’ve owned it for a few years and it’s been well looked after in a smoke-free home studio. It works perfectly and is in excellent condition throughout. It comes complete with the original box.

The TR-09 delivers the unmistakable sound and hands-on workflow of the iconic TR-909, while adding modern features including USB audio/MIDI connectivity in Roland’s compact Boutique format.

I’m not in any rush to sell it, as it’s a genuinely brilliant piece of gear, but I don’t use it enough these days to justify keeping it if someone else can get more enjoyment from it.

The TR-09 can be powered either by four AA batteries or via a standard Micro USB cable, making it easy to use at home or on the go.

The TR-09 has been discontinued by Roland, making them increasingly sought after. If you’ve been looking for the classic TR-909 sound and workflow without the eye-watering price of an original, this is one of the best modern recreations available.
