The Audio-Technica AT-VM95ML is a moving magnet phono cartridge sitting near the top of AT's VM95 series. It uses a dual magnet VM stereo design and is fitted with a nude microlinear diamond stylus on an aluminium cantilever - a 2.2 × 0.12 mil contact profile that tracks groove detail with precision while being gentle on vinyl over its rated approximately 1,000-hour stylus lifespan. Output voltage is 3.5 mV at 1 kHz, frequency response extends to 25,000 Hz, and the recommended tracking force is 2.0 g (range 1.8-2.2 g). It mounts via the standard half-inch two-screw pattern, making it compatible with the vast majority of tonearms. The replacement stylus is the AT-VMN95ML, so the cartridge body can be upgraded further within the VM95 family.
