The Genelec G Three is a compact powered bookshelf loudspeaker built around a die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™). Each cabinet houses a 130 mm cone woofer and a 19 mm metal dome tweeter, driven by a total of 100 W RMS via two separate Class D amplifiers - 50 W for the bass section and 50 W for the treble. Connectivity covers both RCA and XLR analogue inputs, and a dedicated subwoofer output allows integration with Genelec's F Series subs. On-board Room Response Compensation switches, Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) technology, and Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) give the G Three a degree of acoustic flexibility suited to nearfield listening environments. Frequency response extends from 47 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB), with a usable range of 54 Hz-20 kHz at ±2.5 dB.
