FROM THE ARTIST: As I sit in my apartment tinkering with remixes for Chelsea Wolfe & Dead Cross, I thought some of you might get a kick out of reworking a Child Bite song. The lyrics to "Blow Off The Omens" can be interpreted in a multitude of ways, especially right now. One take could be to tune out the constant barrage of anxiety-inducing stats and focus on positive, productive activities while hunkering down (such as this remix project!). A more literal take could be commentary on the folks still hitting the beach, attending church, running unnecessary errands because they're bored, etc... I may have unwittingly written an anthem for the ignorant masses. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
