What it is: 
An interesting twist on a brick-wall limiter from the '60s.

Why it's cool: 
Devil-Loc brings unparalleled, yet musical, bite. 

Simple, devious and often unpredictable, Devil-Loc is a little plug-in that makes drums sound big. Drop it on a drum kit or loop and listen to Devil-Loc inflate the room ambience, pumping excitement into an otherwise drab rhythm track. Push it to its limits to create extreme gating effects where loud hits crush the signal to silence and the output blooms into a fuzzy mess.

Now back off the controls. You’ll find some amazing sweet spots where Devil-Loc shows its angelic side, adding a vintage halo to loops and drums. You can even try it on your mix bus—if you dare!

Installation Instructions
Activation Instructions

1. Download the Soundtoys installer from your Soundtoys account.
2. If you already have an account go to: https://www.soundtoys.com/authorize/ 
   
3. Run the installer on your computer.
4. Open your host application (Pro Tools, Logic, etc.), which will scan your plug-ins and prompt you with an activation window.
5. Type in your iLok account user ID and password and follow the steps to complete the activation.
6. Make some music!

Notes

• You will need to have the iLok License Manager (ILM) application installed on your computer. This installs automatically with our Mac installers but is an option in the Windows installers.
• iLok USB keys are optional for all Soundtoys 5 products, but are not required.
