Razzle Dazzle is a more fanciful name for Dazzle camouflage developed and deployed by the UK and US military in World War I. In an effort to avoid being targeted for torpedo attacks by German U-boats (submarines) thousands of our ships were painted with a variety of wild stripes to confuse the enemy about identity, direction and speed. We’ve used the dazzle style on this pedal as an homage to the ingenuity of wildlife experts, scientists and graphic artists coordinating with our military to protect our troops at sea. Packed with knobs that let you control everything from tight, radically fuzzy sounds that gate off instantly when you stop playing, to intermodulating oscillations that fight for control of your guitar as your notes decay, to shortwave radio sounds, ripping velcro and octave-like fuzz.
