The Yamaha FG800 Acoustic Guitar is a traditional dreadnought shaped guitar that would suit any beginner or intermediate players down to the ground. This classy guitar benefits from specifically selected lightweight tonewood construction with upgraded internal bracing for performance to match that of a much more expensive instrument. Thanks to its solid spruce top and Nato/Okume back and sides this guitar has an overall warm sound with top end and clarity across a range of frequencies, on top of this the FG800 is also equipped with Yamaha's scalloped bracing system that is tuned to improve response across the low end and provide richer harmonic overtones in the mid range.You can also be confident that the FG800 is supremely comfortable to play for long periods thanks to its tried and tested dreadnought build. Combined with the classic body is a rounded profile, natural feeling matte finished neck that is then married to a 20 fret fretboard topped with subtle dot inlays to aid fret navigation.
