The gBaby Taylorh is highly popular within the Taylor lineup for its compact size and excellent portability. This BT1e model is a highly practical electro-acoustic guitar featuring a pickup system housed in a body that condenses the size of a standard acoustic guitar to approximately 3/4 size. Key specifications include a solid Sitka spruce top, layered walnut sides and back, a hard rock maple neck, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a scale length of approximately 578 mm (22-3/4 inches), and a nut width of approximately 42.8 mm. It also features Taylorfs proprietary gES-Bh pickup system. In addition to volume and tone controls, it includes a built-in chromatic tuner and is ready for performance when connected to an amplifier or PA system. ES-B models from 2022 and earlier feature a system combining three piezo sensors positioned behind the saddle with an onboard preamp. As for its condition, there are dents, scratches, and some tarnish on the metal parts, and it shows signs of aging and wear consistent with its age. There is moderate warping visible beneath the bridge on the top. The neck has a very slight forward bow.
